Science Objectives

This year RV Atlantis is scheduled to participate in the regularly scheduled NSF - JMS inspection.  This is a three day inspection that takes place on board RV Atlantis.  One of the three days is a required underway at sea day where the crew and science technicians will run Atlantis through all tests and procedures.  The objectives on this cruise is to demonstrate functionality and material condition with the installed sciencetific shipboard equipment.
