Science Objectives

Oceanus will be the ship of opportunity to recover a NOAA DART buoy #44402 that is adrift off station ~ 130 nm SE of Fire Island NY.  Once recovered they will redeploy a new DART Mooring buoy #44402 that will have acoustic release capability.

2 large crates containing 2500m 3/4" nylon rope.

2 anchors @ 3000 lbs each.
