Finn Wimberly, Research Assistant II, joins WHOI after finishing a bachelor’s degree in physics at Middlebury College. In PO, he will be working with Caroline Ummenhofer, Svenja Ryan, and Glen Gawarkiewicz (and Hilde Oliver in AOPE) on data management and web-based visualization of e.g., oceanographic profiles obtained from the fishing community, biophysical cruise data, and maritime weather data from historical ship logbooks.

Finn enjoys skiing, surfing, crosswords, morning coffee, campfires, and friends.
