Explore Our Ocean Planet

WHOI Ocean Science Exhibit Center manager Kathy Patterson uses the Magic Planet  projection system to demonstrate global ocean processes at the center. The Magic Planet exhibit helps people to better understand dynamic global systems such as ocean currents, sea level rise, climate and geological events.  Visitors learn about WHOI’s ocean science and exploration. Featured exhibits include a model of the submarine Alvin’s personnel sphere, the discovery and exploration of the Titanic, whale and dolphin research, and many videos and interactive exhibits.(Photo by Tom Kleindinst, Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution)
