Dressed for Success

Students in the 2013 small boat safety class at WHOI pose in buoyant survival suits designed to keep them dry, warm, and afloat in the event of an accident at sea. Scientists take the class to qualify to work aboard vessels in WHOI’s small boat fleet, which is used extensively by researchers in the Coastal Ocean Institute.
