You Parked It Where?

It can be difficult to find a parking space in downtown Siracusa, Sicily, but the crew of the research vessel Oceanus found just the right spot in June 2007. Surrounded by Greek and Roman ruins, street markets, tourist spots, and everyday Italian life, the ship and her crew settled right in for a brief shore visit before continuing an expedition for Penn State oceanographer John Preston.
