Jack Cook

Jack is a graphic artist and animator who has been plying his trade at WHOI since 1983. He works closely with scientists to produce illustrations, maps, graphs, and animations that communicate their work to other scientists as well as to the public. His illustrations have been published in numerous journals, such as Nature, Science, JGR and others. Animations he has produced are used in presentations, on the web, and have appeared on the History Channel, the Discovery Channel and public television. He has a multidisciplinary degree in Comparative Arts from Southeastern Massachusetts University (now UMass Dartmouth).

Jack works for WHOI Graphic Services and is available for projects for WHOI employees.
