Abstracts will be accepted
through February 15, 2005. Authors of papers selected
for presentation and publication on the CD
will be notified no later than February 15, 2005
by email. Every effort will be made to issue early notification
to those who submit abstracts early.

Format
Prospective authors are
to submit a 200-word abstract, including the title and name(s) of
all authors, their affiliations, and current address(es). A telephone
number and email address for the corresponding author must also
be included. The abstract should be related to a topic in the technical
areas listed above. All text is required to be in MS Word and left justified
using font size 12 with one-inch margins on all sides.
Please do not use equations or graphics in the abstract. The session
to which the abstract is most appropriate should be indicated. In
the abstract, the authors should describe their work and how it
contributes to the area they choose. Also include up to 5 key words
or phrases.

To guarantee that the
author(s) (or a colleague) are in attendance at the conference to
present their papers, a non-refundable $100 USD deposit will be required
for accepted abstracts, and will be due upon notification of acceptance
and prior to publication on the IEEE/OES/CMTC Proceedings CD. This
deposit will be applied to your Conference Registration fee.
Detailed instructions
for the preparation of final manuscripts will be provided online
following notification of selection. Final manuscripts must be received
by 15 April 2005. Oral presentation is contingent
on receipt of manuscript, with publication contingent on presentation
of manuscript.
