Overview:
In this course, you will learn how to manipulate, edit, and adjust images
using Photoshop. You will use several tools for selecting parts of images,
and will move, duplicate, and resize images. You will use layers, and learn
how to apply layer effects and filters to create special effects, including
lighting and texture effects. Additionally, you will use painting tools and
blending modes to create shading effects, and will perform adjustments to
contrast and color balance. You will save images in formats for print and
Web use.
Audience: This course is intended for people (including graphic artists,
photographers, designers, etc.) who have little or no experience using Adobe
Photoshop, and who want to use this program to effectively manipulate, edit,
adjust, and prepare images for print or Web use.
Objectives:
* Add and format text within an image.
* Apply blending and shading effects to create realistic
composites.
* Apply layer effects and filters to create special effects
including lighting effects and textures.
* Combine several images with text to create an advertisement.
* Create and manipulate multiple layers to composite images
easily.

and saturation of images.
* Navigate in Photoshop's environment.
* Save images in file formats for use with other applications.
* Select appropriate resolutions for different image and
output types.
* Select colors using the Color palette, Color Picker,
and Eyedropper tool.
* Select image areas using the Marquee tools, Lasso tools,
and Magic Wand tool.
