Nested In The Ice

WHOI physical oceanographer Andrey Proshutinsky and a multi-national team aboard the Canadian Coast Guard Icebreaker Louis S. St. Laurent set out the moorings carrying instruments to monitor temperature, saltiness, and currents in a rapidly changing part of the ocean, part of a multi-national multi-year effort to understand changing conditions in this ocean basin.
