Charting a Course

The students were part of a day trip in Buzzards Bay to get hands-on experience with oceanographic tools. The excursion is one of the most popular activities of the Summer Student Fellowship Program, a 10-to-12-week undergraduate program that encourages rising seniors to chart their own careers in ocean science.
