Under his leadership, the Council implemented its inaugural Racial Equity Plan, distributing an historic $60.lM in relief for the cultural sector. Before his Council service, Bobbitt was a pivotal figure in regional theater. Since 2023, he has served on Governor Healey’s Council on Black Empowerment.
