WOODS HOLE PUBLIC LIBRARY: Writing Workshops
October 28, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 8:45 pm
WOODS HOLE PUBLIC LIBRARY: The library will be hosting a series of writing workshops in September and October. Caroline Joy Adams, a successful author and university professor, will be leading the workshops free of charge to writers of all experience levels. She is the author of four published books, including The Power to Write: Seven Keys to Discover Your Writer Within. The series will take place on Monday nights twice a month. Ms. Adams says “each workshop will be a supportive place to get your words flowing and tap into a group energy that will stimulate your best creative writing.” The second in the series will be on September 30 and will be on “Memorable Moments & Auspicious Occasions.” On October 7, the focus will be on stories with a connection to nature and the last, on October 28, will focus on “big changes in our lives.” All the workshops will take place on Monday evenings from 7 to 8:45 p.m., in the lower level meeting room of the library. Although Ms. Adams would like people to attend all the sessions, they are welcome to attend only one or several of the evenings. Interestingly, she asks people to bring only paper and a pencil, not a keyboard! People are asked to register by calling the library at (508) 548-8961. Many more details are available on the library’s website www.woodsholepubliclibrary.org.
