Courante, an Upper Cape-based baroque chamber ensemble performing on period instruments, will present “The World’s a Stage” on Sunday, September 18, at 3 p.m., at the Church of the Messiah, 22 Church St., Woods Hole. The program consists of music from the baroque theater. Highlights are a suite from the opera Cephale et Procris by Élisabeth Jacquet de la Guerre, the ballet sequence from Handel’s Almira, and instrumental selections from Lully’s Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme.
