WOODS HOLE FILM FESTIVAL: The “2019-2020 Woods Hole Film Festival Dinner & A Movie” series kicks off on Saturday, October 12, at 7 p.m., with the feature documentary The Weight of Water by Michael Brown. The film screened as an official selection in the 28^th Woods Hole Film Festival. “Dinner & A Movie” is a monthly series of independent film presented by the Woods Hole Film Festival at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution’s Redfield Auditorium located at 45 Water Street, Woods Hole. The selections include films from the prior Woods Hole Film Festivals, as well as films curated specifically for the series. Tickets are $14 per person, $12 for Woods Hole Film Festival members, $10 for students and veterans, and are on sale in advance at www.woodsholefilmfestival.org or at the door at Redfield Auditorium. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the screening starts at 7 p.m. On the night of each screening, participating restaurants, including the Captain Kidd, 77 Water Street, Woods Hole, Quick’s Hole Tavern, 29 Railroad Avenue, Woods Hole, and the Landfall, Luscombe Avenue, Woods Hole, will offer a special for ticket holders.
