WOODS HOLE PUBLIC LIBRARY: Writing workshop

November 16, 2019 @ 12:00 am

WOODS HOLE PUBLIC LIBRARY: The library will be hosting a one-session writing workshop on Saturday, November 16. The session will be led by Caroline Joy Adams, M.Ed. who has been leading a popular six-part series at the Library over the past two months. This new workshop will focus on how to write a short memoir, from 2-10 pages. Ms. Adams believes that “a powerful piece of memoir does not does not have to take up a whole book….even a well-crafted piece of writing that is only 500-2500 words in length can be extremely meaningful, helpful and inspiring to those who read it.” Ms. Adams is the author of four published books and is currently working on a new book to be published in the spring of 2020, entitled Your Story Can Change Someone Else’s: How to  Write Your Most Powerful, Inspiring Short Memoir. The three and one-half hour workshop will be offered free of charge, but people must register in advance by calling the library at 508-548-8961. Attendance will be limited to 20 people.
