B J Atwood-Fukuda, author of poetry and prose, will be reading from her recent work on Monday, August 12, at the library at 7:30 p.m. B J’s reading this year–her seventh annual–will feature pages from a work-in-progress, as well as some recent poems. Those who know B J’s work agree that it does not lend itself to easy categorization. Some have called it “prose poetry.” B J favors the term “riff.” As always, she invites questions and comments from listeners.
