Cruise Tracks Email to a Friend In May, Atlantis arrived in Woods Hole for maintenance, and its third homeport visit since 1996. Knorr, visiting Woods Hole in November between expeditions, logged the most miles of the four WHOI-operated vessels in 2005. Oceanus prepared for a November research cruise to study circulation and currents near Bermuda. Tioga, WHOI’s coastal research vessel, made 117 trips in support of science research during its first full year of operation.
