MIT/WHOI Joint Program Students Attend AGU24 Fall Meeting in Washington, DC

By Lilli Enders

Students from WHOI’s Physical Oceanography department joined more than 27,000 attendees at the AGU24 Fall Meeting in Washington, DC this December for a week jam-packed with science! Among the scientists, policymakers, journalists, and science communicators present to celebrate this year’s “What’s Next for Science” theme were MIT-WHOI Joint Program students Brynn Hamilton, Lilli Enders, Shawn Wang, Glenn Liu, Ian Robertson, and Jinshi Chen. In addition to sharing a taste of the exciting research happening in the department with the broader scientific community, students were given the chance to connect with colleagues old and new, explore solutions to the biggest problems facing our earth system, and support each other in our science goals.
