Northern light show

Aurora borealis lights dance in the sky above the U.S. Coast Guard icebreaker Healy during an Arctic Shelf cruise in 2004. Join a team of researchers, led by Carin Ashjian of WHOI, aboard the Healy on the next Polar Discovery expedition as they examine fish, seabirds, marine mammals and even humans to learn more about how the changing climate may affect this delicately balanced ecosystem.
