Outer Space to Inner Space

WHOI scientists are known for the fact that many of them address some of the most immediate and pressing questions of our time. MIT-WHOI graduate student Adam Sarafian, however, is asking a question so old that it appears in many creation myths: How did Earth get its water? Here, Sarafian holds a sample of a meteorite loaded into a disc and ready for analysis in the Northeast National Ion Microprobe Facility at WHOI.
