Sticking Around
August 26, 2007Over the years, the Narwhal Hotel in Resolute Bay, Canada, has hosted adventurers, tourists, science teams, pilots, and oil, gas, and mineral prospectors from all over the world, a fact that is immortalized on a door in the dining area. The North Pole Environmental Observatory crew of which WHOI was a part in 2007 has been working out of the Narwhal since 2002, due to its proximity to the airport and warehouse, and the hotel’s no-nonsense approach to hosting its guests.
