Holographic Imaging System Holographic Imaging System (HoloPOD)
A tool used to photograph and study microscopic and macroscopic life in the ocean and adapted to capture images of oil droplets and marine plankton in the Gulf plume.

An underwater video microscope system that that takes images of plankton and particulate matter as small as 50 microns and up to a few centimeters in size.
