Anton Zafereo

The Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution announces with great sorrow the death of former employee Anton Zafereo. He was 45.

Anton began his career at WHOI in 2005 as an engineering assistant II under Dudley Foster in the Alvin Group.  In 2010, he was promoted to shipboard services technician under David Fisichella.  Anton sailed aboard both the R/V Atlantis and R/V Knorr during his WHOI career.  He left in 2012.
