Julio Candela

The Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution announces with great sorrow the death of former employee Julio Candela on November 29, 2022.

Julio began his career at WHOI in 1990 as a postdoctoral scholar working with Robert Beardsley in the Physical Oceanography Department.  In 1992, he was appointed assistant scientist. In 1996, he was promoted to associate scientist. He left WHOI in 1998.

A private celebration of life was already held.
