Thomas A Bouché

The Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution announces with great sorrow the death of retiree Thomas A Bouché on June 24 at home surrounded by his family.  He was 69.

Tom was born in Brockton, Mass., and was the loving son of the late Robert Bouché and Stephany (Zagorskis) Bouché.

Tom began his career at WHOI in 1982 as an assistant electrician in Facilities.  He left in 1987 but returned in 1989.  He was promoted several times throughout his career and retired as a senior electrician in 2013.

Tom was a devoted husband, father, and loved his extended family including his dogs! He enjoyed sailing, loved nature, and was always involved in home improvement projects, always had a tool in his hand. He will be sorely missed.

Tom was the beloved husband of Deborah (Jutras) Bouché and his son, Kevin. He was the brother of Paul Bouché of Falmouth, Mass., Anne Merna of Norwell, Mass., and Liz Bouché of Pembroke, Mass.

Services will be held privately.
