This will guarantee the special workshop room rate of $124.74 Canadian for a single room. Deadline for this special rate is Friday, 24 February 2012. Reservations can still be made after this date; however, the rate is not guaranteed.

Forty five rooms have been set aside for Monday, March 5th , sixty rooms for Tuesday, March 6th, and forty five on Wednesday, March 7th . In addition, attendees are able to get the reduced rate for three days before and after the workshop to allow travel flexibility.

Weather

Victoria has a mild climate with a mix of rain and sunshine. In March the temperatures range from highs of 61° Fahrenheit or 16° Celsius to lows of 36° Fahrenheit or 2° Celsius, with some rain expected - typical spring weather.

Hotel Parking

The Hotel has limited underground parking available to all guests. For 2012, Self-Parking rate is $2.75 per hour up to a maximum of $16.00 per day. Valet Parking is $20.00 per day. There may be yearly increases to these parking fees up to a maximum of 5% per year. All rates are quoted in Canadian dollars. Parking is on a first come, first serve basis.

The hotel is not responsible should the attendees not find parking in the Hotel’s underground parking. Additional parking may be found in close proximity to the Hotel in public parking lots and city-metered parking spots.
